Gene started doing business by pure accident in ealry 50's while reloading shells at the Federal correctional facility in El Reno. It didnt take long til Gene was using up most of his spare time and hobby time to create a legacy in trap and skeet shooting while keeping customers supplies with all thier reloading needs  in the middle of Oklahoma.
From small beginnings come great big things.
In 1964 Gene took notice his business and his hobby became one. Most people can only wish they could work for their hobby. Gene succeeded and in 1964 he incoporated Gene Sears Supply in El Reno, Oklahoma.
Its a family.
Married to Betty in 1949 Gene took steps to make sure that business was stocked with the best people he could find (his own). 4 Kids, 11 Grandchildren,  13 Great Grandchildren with 2 more on the way, most have found their way to working in the family business.
